Background and Links

The Polytechnic Strategic Plan focuses on quality vocational education that increases post-year 10 training opportunities for all students. There is particular emphasis on developing Polytechnic learning to provide holistic education programs to young and mature-age students with support so that each student achieves their potential.

The Polytechnic learning model is holistic and builds learners' capacity to 'think', 'be' and 'do' in the Tasmanian and global community. It is characterised by being flexible, applied, connected and supported.
